ALL THAT IS MINE IS YOURS

Thats what our heavenly Father says to all of us who are His sons through Jesus Christ

In the story which we call the Parable of the Prodigal son it is more appropriate to call it the Love of the Father as it represents our heavenly Father and how He deals with His children. Some of them are like the one who went away and lived as he liked and some others of us are like the older son who lived in the Father’s house but never enjoyed the goodness of the Father-both had access to the Father’s provision but both did not benefit as they should have.

To the younger son who went away and squandered the father’s wealth he said,

“But the father said to his servants, ‘Quick! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet. Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let’s have a feast and celebrate. For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ So they began to celebrate. Luke 15:22-24

And to the older son who lived with him “faithfully” the father said,

“‘My son,’ the father said, ‘you are always with me, and everything I have is yours. But we had to celebrate and be glad, because this brother of yours was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’” Luke 15:31-32

Whenever Jesus spoke a parable about a father He was talking about the heavenly Father Whom He came to reveal.

Please take time to read this parable which Jesus spoke in Luke 15:11-32
