Jezebel killed and troubled many prophets of God.
Finally, God’s judgment came upon her saying “I will avenge the blood of My servants the Prophets… The dogs will eat Jezebel in the territory of Jezreel, and none shall bury her.” 2 Kings 9:7-10
One may say that those were the Old Covenant times but now it is all about grace, but scriptures say God does not change.
The Bible never says God never gets angry but it says, He is slow to anger. God was always merciful and abounding in love.
The Book of Revelation records the future when there will be a voice heard crying out with a loud voice, saying,
“How long, O Lord, holy and true, will You refrain from judging and avenging our blood on those who dwell on the earth?”
And there was given to each of them a white robe; and they were told that they should rest for a little while longer, until the number of their fellow servants and their brethren who were to be killed even as they had been, would be completed also.
Revelation 6:10-11
There is going to come a Day when God will judge all people by His Son.
We are living in the times before this when God has given time for people to repent and He has sent out laborers everywhere across the world preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ who was tortured for our sakes. He bled and died for the forgiveness of our sins so that we can be saved.
But if one neglects such great a salvation there is no other sacrifice left but judgment without mercy is awaiting – it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God Who is a consuming fire.
Hebrews 10
CONCLUSION:
The end of those who reject or neglect or stand against God’s anointed One Jesus Christ and His people is going to be judgment without mercy.
This is the time to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved.
