This happened at a Christian Worship Concert long time back in the city of Hyderabad
So many had gathered at a huge ground in the city for a Christian Worship Concert where a few bands were there to play worship songs – it started with a local band, then another from the North East, then another guy from the west – but there was not much zeal in the crowd as the bands and worship leaders were not bold enough to exalt the name of Jesus – one of them even sang a film song – maybe he hoped that would please the young crowd that gathered there!
It was supposed to be a Christian Concert and the crowd was mostly a Christian crowd there – now if they were not bold to play worship songs here and exalt Jesus where they would be bold I wondered. After all the man pleasers were done the final one to come was Darlene Zschech and it was my first time seeing her play live. She came and straight away shouted and exalted the name of JESUS and the crowd got on their feet and worshipped, and it was a wonderful time in that ground.
Don’t ever try to please man, especially if you are in the ministry as apostle Paul said, if I try to please man I cannot be a servant of Christ!
“For am I now seeking the favour of people, or of God? Or am I striving to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a bond-servant of Christ.” Galatians 1:10
I truly appreciated Darlene Zschech for her boldness and commitment to do what she was called to do and came to do in that place, as a lesson for those who did not show the boldness to do the same. Here is a beautiful song sung by Darlene Zschech:
